About Our Founder
Eric Jones, CDT
Eric is the founder of Hill Country Dental Design and has been in the dental laboratory industry since his youth, when he joined his brother’s dental laboratory in high school. He eventually went on to become a dental laboratory business associate and ultimately opened his own laboratory in 1995. His career spans years of business start-ups and strategies, organizational development, sustainability, and collaborative working relationships for the benefit of every patient. His colleagues know him as an influential agent for positive change, continued professional growth, and an unwavering commitment to quality; Eric is a respected leader and mentor in the field who champions the benefits and necessities of staying on the cutting edge of dental technology and innovation. With decades of technical experience, Eric is an expert ceramist known for his talent with shades and making his restorations disappear in the mouth. Eric specializes in implantology, and brings considerable expertise in CAD/CAM technology with more than 15 years in digital workflows and production.
